Discovering your Inner ‘Swara’ Workshop
What is Inner ‘Swara’?
In the word ‘Swara’, ‘Swa’ denotes ‘Self’ and ‘Ra’ denotes ‘Shine’. The ‘Inner Swara’ becomes fully present when one’s deeper self comes forth and shines through one’s work. This is also when one can intuitively know and fulfill through work, the special mission one is being created and molded for.
There are two aspects to our work – an inner and outer aspect. The outer aspect of our work is our competencies and actions in performing the work. The inner aspect is our Self that infuses into our competencies and actions. When the depth of our inner self comes forward and directly communicates with our work we create work of greater mastery, finesse, elegance and usefulness to others.
An example of ‘Swara’ and its relevance to all fields of work
If a musician has only good voice and skills they render excellent music. But when their soul touches the soul of their music something else happens. We then get mastery and a different engaging and transformative experience for the musician and their audience. It is almost as if something in the soul of the musician’s presence gets fused into the soul or living pulse of the music and its overall tradition.
We can practice ‘Inner Swara’ in any field of our work or profession. Work also includes our actions in our job, family, society etc. It can be any work we are involved in but what really matters is the spirit with which we do the work.
Through the practice of ‘Inner Swara’ we can make a perfect offering of our work and mission for the well being of humanity, other beings and the world at large.
The workshop is an introductory dive-in to a life long exploration into:
- What is our attitude to work?
- Can work become a practice through which we can access our deeper self?
- How can we infuse our deeper-self qualities into work so that work gains increasing perfection, finesse and elegance?
- How can we engage with interest in all parts of our work so that its full finesse is revealed to us and mastered?
- How can we make our work a perfect offering of our best talents for the benefit of humanity, other beings and planet?
- How can we fulfill our special mission we are here for, in our lifetime, through our work?
